Rhododendron ‘Christmas Cheer’ 7.5L

Beautiful and appealing from bud to bloom a quite compact rhododendron with long dark green leaves that are brown on their underside. The flowers are in good rounded clusters and open from pink buds. The blooms are an appealing blush pink when young and fade to a warm white. Pink tints remain on some stamens and there are variable areas of stronger pink suffusion on some petal centres. An attractive plant that flowers early, often from February. It is sometimes forced into early flower and sold at Christmas. Thereafter, if in your garden, it returns to its normal course of life.
